sweeneylogoSMAnybody hungry? Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street, Stephen Sondheim’s musical thriller, comes to Actor’s Express for a run of revenge, murder, meat pies and macabre fun. Kevin Harry (AE’s Murder Ballad, Aurora’s Les Miserables) is the razor-wielding Todd and Deborah Bowman (Serenbe’s A Streetcar Named Desire) is his accomplice, the scheming Mrs. Lovett. This 1980 masterwork won eight Tony awards, including best musical, best score, best actor (Len Cariou) and best actress (Angela Lansbury). Anybody hungry?
