Russ Belin

Russ Belin, vice president of Broadway in Atlanta, has joined the board of directors for Most Valuable Kids, a nonprofit that gives unused event tickets to underserved kids in metropolitan areas.

Broadway in Atlanta will donate tickets worth at least $12,500 to MVK for age-appropriate shows throughout its season. The partnership lets Broadway in Atlanta season-ticket holders donate unused tickets online to children who wouldn’t otherwise see the shows.

Donated tickets will be distributed to ages 18 and under through MVK-connected groups that focus on children in low-income and underserved households, their chaperones, mentors and volunteers.

Belin has more than 20 years of experience in entertainment sales and marketing. He oversees all aspects of the Broadway in Atlanta series at the Fox Theatre. The 2017/18 season opened there last week with the Lincoln Center revival of The King and I. It continues this month with The Color Purple (Oct. 24-29), followed by Love Never Dies: The Phantom Returns (Nov. 28-Dec. 3), The Lion King (Jan. 10-28), Rent (Feb. 20-25), Something Rotten! (April 17-22), Hamilton (May 22-June 10) and The Book of Mormon (July 17-22).
