Last Round is Atlanta School composer Osvaldo Golijov’s tribute to Astor Piazzolla, the father of the “New Tango.” Piazzolla’s luxurious “Four Seasons” homage to Vivaldi is a glorious fusion of tango, jazz and classical elements. Tchaikovsky’s Fourth pulsates with upheaval, emotional turmoil and triumph.
