Ismail Akbar, a 2007 graduate of Oberlin College (same as Ms. Vulgamore) (and a former memeber of the TDP)was very supportive as an undergraduate at the Conservatory - performance of the cello. She sent postcards as he spent the summer at the Aspen Festival....always gave comments as he was featured in the TDP Musicale of 2008... That small personal touch meant a great deal towards my son's self-esteem and ambition... AND WE THANK YOU VERY MUCH!!! and WE WISH YOU WELL and MUCH SUCCESS!!! An Obie's mom.
