Museums offer free access to art on Sept. 26
Who says you have to pay to experience high art? On Sept. 26, several Atlanta-area museums will emulate Smithsonian Institution’s free admission policy for Museum Day 2009. Local museums participating in the program include:

- Barrington Hall
- Bulloch Hall
- CDC/Global Health Odyssey Museum
- Center for Puppetry Arts
- Hammonds House Museum
- High Museum of Art
- Marietta Museum of History
- Museum of Design Atlanta
- Smith Plantation
More than 1,200 museums in 50 states are participating. Print out your admission card (good for two people) here, and enjoy some culture on the house.
