Front_Closeup-1979365150-O-e1420834489832The Atlanta Symphony’s 45th annual Decorators’ Show House & Gardens, a spectacular fundraiser, opens its doors April 18 and runs through Mother’s Day on May 10.

Château Soleil, a 14,500-sq. ft. grand estate, is at 4701 Northside Drive. As usual, it will be dressed to the nines by designers showcasing their talents and styles. Tickets are $30 and available at retailers from Buckhead to Peachtree City to Roswell. For a complete list, go HERE. Tickets are also available at the Atlanta Symphony Store in the Woodruff Arts Center. They’ll be available at the Show House beginning April 18.

SUNDAY, April 19: 1:30 p.m. Meet-and-greet with celebrity designer and HGTV host Vern Yip.

TUESDAY, April 21: 1 p.m. “2015 Color Trends” with Juan Carlos Rosas of Benjamin Moore.

WEDNESDAY, April 22: 11 a.m. “Collecting Silver: To Use and Enjoy” with Mimi Bremer Woodruff of Beverly Bremer.

FRIDAY, April 24: 10 a.m. Custom perfume design demonstration with Susan Sexton of BLEND Custom Parfum.

SATURDAY, April 25: 11 a.m. Pure Barre in the Garden – Lift, Tone & Burn While Enjoying the Outdoors with Deb Pearlstein of Pure Barre Dunwoody.

TUESDAY, April 28: 11 a.m. Stella & Dot Jewelry and Accessories Trunk Show with Katy Barnes.

THURSDAY, April 30: 11 a.m. “Living Newport: Houses, People, Style Book Signing & Private Entrée into How the Fabled Town’s Tastemakers Entertain, Decorate, Party, Garden and Dress” with author Bettie Pardee.

Noon. “New Southern Design” with Ann Wisniewski of AJW Designs.

1 p.m. “How to Add Drama & Fun to a Powder Room” with Beth Kooby Design.

2 p.m. “Lighting: The Essential Touch” with Stuart Pliner Design.

THURSDAY, May 7: 1:30 p.m. ASO string quartet with Kenn Wagner, violin; Jessica Oudin, viola; Joel Dallow, cello; and a second violinist TBA.

FRIDAY, May 8:

11 a.m. Artisanal chocolate tasting with small-batch chocolatier Xocolatl.

Noon-4 p.m. Complimentary makeup applications from Woo Skincare + Cosmetics.

SATURDAY, May 9: Noon. Meet expert craftsman and HGTV host Chip Wade.

SUNDAY May 10: 1-4 p.m. Mother’s Day Tea. Treat your mom to lunch, live music and a show-house visit. Food available for purchase in the on-site Le Café.

PARKING, ETC.

With the Show House come some do’s and don’ts. Please note:

There is no parking available at the house, on the street or in the surrounding neighborhood. Free parking has been donated by the Medici and Forum buildings and will be validated at the Ticket Desk at the Show House. It’s on Northside Parkway, just south of the West Paces Ferry Road intersection, in the Piazza at Paces building at 3290 Northside Parkway, Atlanta, Ga., 30327.

Complimentary shuttle service between the parking area and the Show House & Gardens is provided during normal operating hours. Show hours (the end time indicates the last entry time): 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Tuesday-Saturday; 10 a.m.-7 p.m. Thursday; and 1-4 p.m. Sunday.

No children under age 8 are allowed. No backpacks, strollers or bulky shoulder bags are allowed and please wear flat shoes.

The Atlanta Symphony Associations’ Decorators’ Show House & Gardens is one of the longest-running fundraisers of its kind in the United States, providing major support to the ASO.
