Eleven new members — all men — have been named to the Woodruff Arts Center’s Board of Trustees, the group that oversees the Peachtree Road campus and its constituents, the Alliance Theatre, Atlanta Symphony Orchestra, High Museum of Art and Young Audiences of Atlanta, as well as the 14th Street Playhouse, just blocks away in Midtown Atlanta.

The new members, joining board chair Larry Gellerstedt III and president/CEO Virginia Hepner include:

  • Peter Aman, partner, Bain & Co.
  • Jim Boswell, partner, King & Spalding, LLC
  • Thomas C. Chubb, president, Oxford Industries
  • Paul R. Garcia, chairman and CEO, Global Payments
  • Doug Franklin, president, Cox Media Group
  • Phil Harrison, president and CEO, Perkins and Will
  • Larry Mark, The Coca-Cola Co.
  • Edward Meyers, regional president Greater Georgia, for the PNC Financial Services Group
  • Allen W. Nelson, executive vice president and general counsel, Crawford & Co.
  • Howard Palefsky, managing director, Montreux Equity Partners
  • Brant Standridge, regional group/state president, North Atlanta, BB&T Bank
